The dream

Offbeat Donuts was a long sought-after dream of baking duo Brian and Sandra O’Casey. That dream developed into a reality when the first Offbeat store opened its doors on Westland Row in May 2016.

Brian and Sandra had both enjoyed successful careers in the baking and retail management industry but had always planned to open their own bakery!

The mission

The mission for Offbeat as a business was to revive the traditional Irish bakery and simply to make donuts magic.

The Ultimate Donut Experience

The idea for Offbeat Donuts was developed from the O’Casey family home where 6 months was spent in a small external development kitchen baking and perfecting flavours and textures to deliver the most mouth-watering donuts. The mission for Offbeat as a business was to revive the traditional Irish bakery and simply to make donuts magic.

All Offbeat donuts are made on site throughout the day, every day so they are the freshest they can possibly be! Recipes are created to allow customers to indulge in their favourite patisserie, desserts or treats all combined in a delicious handmade donut.

Oh, but we don’t just do donuts...

We also offer the most irresistible ICE-CREAM product range! The range includes Loaded Ice-Cream Cones, Ice-Cream Sandwiches and Milkshakes. Offbeat introduced W’onuts, the waffle donut sandwich, exclusively to our NEW store in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre store where we also offer Warm Sugar Donuts!

Life is about those brief moments of magic that make us smile! At Offbeat we set out to bring a little bit of magic into the everyday lives of our customers by delivering the ultimate taste experience and exceeding their expectations with these circles of obsession.

Since the launch in May 2016 the reaction from Offbeat consumers has been phenomenal. Offbeat now have eight company owned stores and counting!
